Is this really free?
Yes — completely free during beta. No credit card, no trial period. When paid plans launch, everyone who joined during beta will get a founding member rate with plenty of notice.
What AI powers Compass?
Google Gemini, running server-side. Your API key is never exposed to the browser. Compass also uses Google Search grounding to give you current, accurate information.
Is my data private?
Your family data is stored securely in Supabase with row-level security — no one can access your records except you. Conversation history is sent to Google Gemini to generate responses. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Does it work for secular homeschoolers?
Yes. Faith background is entirely optional. Compass adapts to whatever you share — or nothing at all.
How many children can I add?
Up to 10 children per family.
Can I use this for high school transcripts?
Yes. The grade ledger tracks subjects, grades, credits, and GPA per child. The transcript view is clean, printable, and looks like a real academic document — suitable for college applications.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Anchored At Home is a Progressive Web App — it works in any mobile browser and can be installed to your home screen for an app-like experience. No app store download needed.
